As per our tradition, we packed up and went to Dayton to spend Thanksgiving with our friends from medical school. We have spent almost every Thanksgiving with Ted, Kashia and the gang since med school in 2007. It is always a good time with lots of food and laughs. The weather was coooooold! It is sad to think that we will both be moving far away from each other but we will have more reasons to get together before we leave. These are all the pictures I took. Mia cried when we left and the next morning Jackson pouted in bed for about a half hour and kept telling me he wanted to go back to Kiari's. It took a few days but he seems to be over it.

Life can be so hard sometimes. But some day we'll all be together forever.
it is so hard leaving good friends! thats by far the worst part about living by an air force base. you make such good friends but after a year or two they have to move. sad, but im sooo excited for what is coming for you guys!
That is fun to visit good friends. I have to say that is one HUMONGOUS Christmas tree in the background of the first pic.
i can't believe how old ted and cassia's kids look! wow. i lot can change in 3 years. i didn't even realize the kids were sitting on those huge presents until i looked at the bigger version. that is an adorable photo. love from grandma.
